# Roadmap

BitcoinPizza plans to launch $BTCP with diverse initiatives, including token staking, global partnerships, and unique DApp. Each year on May 22, we celebrate BitcoinPizza Day with worldwide events, token burning our own version of Bitcoin halving, and the marketing gimmick of rolling out BTCP vending machines in major cities to purchase edible pizza and $BTCP using fiat. Additionally, a portion of network fees will be donated to a charity focused on solving global hunger, with a dedicated wallet set up for this purpose and community voting to govern the distribution of funds.

#### 2024: The Year of Dough Kneading

* Q1: Tasty Token Launch
  * Official launch of $BTCP on Solana.
  * Release limited edition "First Slice" NFTs to early adopters.
* Q2: Saucy Staking Rewards
  * Introduce staking mechanisms with cheesy rewards for long-term holders.
  * Launch the "Pizza Pool", a liquidity pool with extra toppings for contributors.
* Q3: Delivery Partnerships
  * Partner with crypto-friendly pizzerias for discounts when paying with $BTCP.
  * Introduce a "Pizza Tracker" feature in the wallet for tracking crypto earnings and pizza orders.
* Q4: Community Oven
  * Host the first annual BitcoinPizza Day virtual conference featuring crypto leaders, with airdrops of $BTCP to attendees.
  * Release the first version of the "PizzaDAO", where token holders can vote on future toppings—uh, I mean token utilities and partnerships.

#### 2025: The Year of Melting Cheese

**Year-Long DeFi Expansion**

* **Cryptocurrency Swap and Bridge**: BitcoinPizza will significantly enhance its DeFi capabilities by integrating a cryptocurrency swap and bridge function. This new feature will facilitate seamless, cross-chain transactions among various cryptocurrencies at exceptionally low fees, promoting broader use and integration of $BTCP across diverse blockchain ecosystems.
* Q1: Slice of Life Updates
  * Integrate with popular food delivery platforms to accept $BTCP.
  * Launch a mobile app for exclusive pizza-related deals and crypto insights.
* Q2: Global Pizza Party
  * Expand partnership networks internationally.
  * Host global pizza meetups for the community to connect and exchange slices and tips.
* Q3: Cheesy Governance
  * Enhance the PizzaDAO with more governance features.
  * Let community vote on a charity program where pizzas are donated to the needy on behalf of $BTCP holders.
* Q4: Ultimate Pizza Toss
  * Launch the "Slice Leaderboard" for users who transact the most with $BTCP, rewarding them with unique pizza-themed perks.
  * Celebrate the year's successes with a "Pizza Fest", a blockchain-based event streamed worldwide.

#### 2026: The Year of Perfect Crust

* Q1: Dough Expansion
  * Introduce side chains to decrease transaction fees and increase transaction speeds for $BTCP.
  * Partner with gaming platforms for using $BTCP as in-game currency.
* Q2: Recipe Improvement
  * Deploy machine learning algorithms to analyze transaction patterns and improve user rewards.
  * Develop a "Build Your Own Feature" platform where users can suggest and vote on new features for the $BTCP wallet or ecosystem.
* Q3: Boxed and Delivered
  * Roll out a feature to create and trade custom NFTs representing unique pizza recipes.
  * Initiate the "Cold Pizza" program for cold wallet integration, enhancing security for token holders.
* Q4: Full Circle
  * Review the journey, evaluate the ecosystem’s health, and set new, more ambitious goals.
  * Celebrate the end of the phase with a recap NFT for all active participants, encapsulating their journey with BitcoinPizza.

#### Annual Event: BitcoinPizza Day (May 22)

* Token Burning: Celebrate BitcoinPizza Day by burning tokens, our version of Bitcoin halving.
* Worldwide Events: Host a variety of events globally to celebrate this day, enhancing community engagement and brand visibility.
* Vending Machines Installation: Launch BitcoinPizza vending machines in major cities like Manhattan, Tokyo, Paris, Moscow, and Toronto as a marketing and utility drive of onboarding TradFi users to DeFi.

This enhanced roadmap aims to bolster the $BTCP ecosystem with fun, utility, and worldwide reach, making every slice of BitcoinPizza worth the bite!
